Our Story

When and who started AGL

The Adult Gaming League was established in July of 2022 by XxSlotShotxX, Gleddy514, Webhed62, and Dmacjr2/McPhillthy — a place for grown-up hockey gamers to play organized, competitive EA NHL without losing the fun of it. Bobbys_Rash was the league's original media creator, including making the first AGL logo.

It started with a single event, Slotty's Summer Showcase, and grew into a full league: drafted seasons on Monday and Tuesday nights, the Carmean and Quenneville leagues, the Foundation League, Can-Am tournaments, and Weekend Warrior pickup events every Friday and Saturday.

Today the AGL runs on crossplay PS5 and Xbox Series, with every game tracked for standings, stats, and records.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Who can join?

The AGL is for players 30 years of age or older. Apply through the member application. An admin reviews every application, and some players are asked to verify their age before they're approved.

What platforms and game mode do you play?

EA NHL private EASHL club games, 6v6, with PS5 and Xbox Series players playing together. Games are played on the NANE, NAC, or NAW servers.

When are games?

League nights are Monday and Tuesday, with games at 8:00, 8:35, 9:10, and 9:45 PM ET. Weekend Warrior runs Friday and Saturday at 8:00 PM ET. Check the schedule for your team's games.

Do I need a team to join?

No. Players register individually and enter the draft pool, and team management builds rosters through the league draft.

Is Discord required?

Yes. Every player must be in the official AGL Discord server — it's how the league communicates. Leaving the server is treated as leaving the league.

Do I have to stream my games?

Not every player — but each team must have at least one player in the lineup streaming every game on Twitch, Kick, or YouTube.

Where can I find the rules?

Everything is in the AGL Rulebook, from the draft and rosters to gameplay and transactions.

How do I become a GM or team owner?

Approved members can submit a management application when ownership applications are open for an event. An admin will reach out to approved owners.
